Support for Communities

Single parent house holds suffer deficiencies in many regards. When a parent is removed from the household because of incarceration the impacts are devastating and can even produce generational consequences. Children who have an incarcerated person are at far higher risk to themselves commit crimes and become incarcerated themselves.

Why should you care?

At risk households are not only a risk to themselves but they are also a risk to the community as a whole. Neighborhoods that are strongest are at their core communities that are connected and are present with each other. It is the goal of PRIP to help foster these communities by reconnecting families by lowering crime rates and equipping prisoners with life skills needed to fulfill parental roles.
