Our Vision
We envision safer communities strengthened by understanding, accountability, and restored human connection. PRIP is committed to reducing-and preventing-crime through education, mentorship, and healing for incarcerated individuals and their families. By addressing the root causes of criminal behavior, we strive to break the cycles of violence and create pathways to lasting change. Our vision is the reduction and preempting of crime through the educating and mentoring of prisoners and their families.
Our Goals
PRIP believes in the inherent humanity of every person. Our mission is to educate and mentor incarcerated individuals while supporting their families, helping participants uncover and heal from the past traumas that influence criminal behavior.
Through evidenced-based programs, healing centered mentorships, circles, and advocacy for both prisoners and correctional officers alike, PRIP works to reduce violence within the prison system and foster safer, more connected communities beyond prison walls.
